Flavor Paper Impresses a Tough Brooklyn Crowd

While we were away the Flavor Paper wallpaper design showroom / production facility opened at 216 Pacific Street (between Court and Boerum Place) in Boerum Hill and seems to have blown away the neighborhood.

The four-story space was for years a pretty drab beer and soda distributor. Now designer Jon Sherman has brought his hip wall treatment business from New Orleans to Boerum Hill.

The "Flavor Lair" (this is where items like scratch and sniff wallpaper are produced) is a street level printing studio; the showroom is on the second floor along with a design center and office headquarters.

Forbes Life described Flavor paper as "Wall-covering suppliers to the hipoisie nationwide (including Jonathan Adler, W Hotels and David Yurman) . . ."

Back in April the Brooklyn Eagle described the incoming establishment as "whimsical" and in early July the Cobble Hill Blog chose Flavor Paper as their Business of the Week, saying that Sherman's attention to detail "makes their headquarters a feast for the eyes."

According to Brownstoner, all three upstairs units are occupied by Flavor Paper employees.
