Bike Path to Nowhere in Downtown Brooklyn

The Dept. of Transportation painted a bike path on Cadman Plaza East starting at Tillary and heading north towards the Brooklyn Bridge. Which would be fine, except that the path runs right through the blockade erected around the courts on the street, and then through the cars parked there. Cadman Plaza East is used as a parking lot for the courts and for the Office of Emergency Management.

More permanent security blockades, including "ballistic bunkers" are planned for both ends of the street as well, making it unlikely that bikes will ever have easy access to the bike path.
