Show Your Love -- Vote for the Floating Pool!

A supporter of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy emailed McBrooklyn to ask all those who loved the floating pool on the Brooklyn Bridge Park waterfront this summer to click here and "vote for the spectacular Floating Pool Lady in the Cooper Hewitt Museum's prestigious People's Design Award competition."

The competition's description of the pool project: "Because NYC needs reminders of the importance of water, surprise, sun and a little bit of magic."

The pool has made the list of top nominees, putting it in the company of the iPhone, the PlayPump (sustainable, life-saving water pump powered by children at play); Tom's Shoes and the Lifestraw portable water purification device.
